Positive: Nice accomodation in the mountains between other Italian (family/holiday) houses where we completely felt at home. Guilia the host is very welcoming, just as the house is with sweet breakfast bakings and drinks ready in the kitchen. She is also very responsive on questions. So lovely to enjoy breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun with a nice view on the mountains. La Spezia itself is a nice touristic village to visit and a good starting point to take the train to Cinque Terre. Pisa, Lucca, .... are all in driving distance. Baia Blu public beach is a nice sand beach nearby.
